Many of these procedures have replaced traditional surgery since they are safer and more cost effective. Problems of the heart, kidney, liver, and other internal organs can benefit from treatment through interventional radiology. Until recently these procedures were available only at the largest teaching hospitals. Montgomery Hospital has a team of interventional radiologists on service here in your community.
