Montgomery Hospital Body Photo

Montgomery Hospital provides short-term inpatient treatment for patients suffering from acute mental health problems. Using a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach under the direction of a physician, the program utilizes the expertise of mental health nurses, social workers and other professionals who help patients deal with emotional problems so that they may functionally return to their community.

Transitions - A partial hospitalization program, Transitions helps people suffering from depression, anxiety or other emotional disorders in a nonresidential setting where patients receive six hours of therapy, two to five days a week. The primary goal of the program is to help patients increase their level of functioning and manage their mental illness. Because mental health problems impact not only the patient but also the family the program uses a family-centered approach. Individuals with physical impairments who are able to function with minimal assistance are accepted. For more information, call 610-292-0276.
