The non-invasive technology of the Vascular Lab helps physicians diagnose patients with various vascular diseases. The testing helps determine the blood flow in and out of the extremities, head, genitals and vital abdominal organs. Services are provided on either an inpatient or outpatient basis. The testing procedures are painless and do not involve injections, dyes or radiation. The test procedures utilize blood pressure cuffs and imaging with an ultrasound scanner. Appointments for outpatient tests are required. Test length varies from one-half hour to three hours depending on the complexity of the test.
Our Vascular Lab is the first community hospital-based lab in the state to receive full accreditation of the Intersocietal Commission of the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). |
